Your mission is to set the stage for our next chapter, growing Runn's revenue within our mid-market and enterprise market segments. You’ll lead from the front as you strategically guide, hire, grow, and empower our next-stage sales team, optimize and scale our processes, expand our customer base and meet revenue goals.

Your role 🛠

As a sales leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Growth of our mid-market & enterprise segments: Spearhead initiatives to significantly expand Runn's presence within our target market segments and nail our revenue goals.
  • Sales management & process optimization: Develop and implement scalable sales processes that optimize our pipeline and enhance efficiency, agility, and overall sales performance.
  • Team leadership, development, and coaching: Lead, guide, coach, and grow the existing team of Account Executives. You’ll hire for our expanding team and foster a collaborative and growth-minded culture across sales, customer success and the rest of the company.
  • Strategic vision: Develop and communicate a compelling sales strategy and roadmap aligned with our mission and growth goals.
  • Lead the way as you roll up your sleeves: Actively engage in sales activities, build strong customer relationships and work your own pipeline, alongside supporting the team to nurture, unblock, and close deals.

What you’ll need for success 🥇

  • Understanding the core problem we are trying to solve: You bring an understanding of our customers’ pain points and how Runn can solve them - and even better if you’ve spent time in their shoes.
  • Strategic thinking and sales planning to forge our path ahead and adapt in response to shifts in the market and company objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: You have a proven track record in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Experienced with CRM and sales enablement tools to streamline sales processes and increase efficiency.
  • Customer-centric sales drive at the core: You lead with active listening and empathy for customer pain points to develop solutions and segmentation strategies that close deals.
  • Data-driven: You use data, tools, and metrics focusing on sales KPIs to drive success.
  • Agile, resourceful & resilient as you work towards great outcomes and help us build the ship as we go.
  • Team-minded and empowering leader: you’re a coach who leads by example, builds cross-functional collaboration, and thrives on helping others succeed, cultivating a positive, inclusive, and growth-minded sales culture.
  • Clear, effective, and persuasive communication is a given as you drive impactful relationships and results.
  • Curious learner & adventurer who is passionate about technology, creating impact and forging new ways to improve the way we work in a remote-first ecosystem.

You’re our perfect match if…. 🔍

  • You’ve clocked in 10++ years in a comparable role and have a strong track record of SaaS sales & sales management including achievement of individual & team quota.
  • Proven results managing, coaching, growing sales teams, where you've been the driving force behind successfully scaling a SaaS business; the sales systems, processes, people and revenue
  • Seeking a visible path to advance your career: the track is wide open for possibilities.
  • Ideally you're an experienced Sales Director hungry to return to a dynamic start-up / scale-up culture and roll up your sleeves to build the ship. You may have earlier sales management success, with the ambitious drive and talent to take your next step into a career-defining leadership opportunity.
  • Global mindset: You appreciate the diverse perspectives and nuances of a worldwide team.
  • Ideally, you’ll be in Toronto, Vancouver, or a compatible time zone.
